Auditions
The Audition process will be as follows:
For characters with a non-existing cast in the group:
For characters with an existing cast in the group:
We have implemented a multiple character policy since we have so many talented members in the group who can do more than one character. Members still have to audition like everybody else to be considered — there are no advantages nor biases to existing members, as first and foremost we focus on sound-alike quality as well as activity. A member can hold up to 3 characters.
For characters with a non-existing cast in the group:
- The Disney Elite official page will be hosting the auditions for each character. The audition can be either singing or acting depending on the character.
- To be considered, you must try and sound as close as possible to the character we are looking for while using either None FX, Polish, or Super Studio 0/0 during your recordings for the audition. Pop FX or excessive reverb distort the voice and those recordings will not be accepted.
- Auditions last for 7 days. It is at our discretion to host another audition for the same character in order to find the best people suited for the role.
- After the audition closes, those who are considered for Callbacks will be receiving a private message from one of the leaders (see Contact Us page to know who they are).
- This means they will have to do a final recording(s) which will determine the winner, this will last another 7 days, and the results will be posted shortly after.
- The number of days that will take for us to post the results will depend on the amount of people who joined and how quickly they join; the more people who auditioned and the slower they join, the longer it will take. This will be a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 7 days to release castings.
For characters with an existing cast in the group:
- The Disney Elite official page will still be posting the auditions and the rules about FX will still apply. However, the callback process will be different.
- The existing cast members will choose their callbacks and host the recordings on their page(s). Then once the callbacks are over, the cast and the leaders will collaborate and discuss who among the Callbacks will be best suited for the role
- It is at the cast's discretion to host more than one audition/callback for the same role in order to find the best character.
- The time frame will still be the same however it will still depend on the amount of people and how long it takes for them to submit their recordings.
