We are almost at the end of Wishes Season 4! For semifinals, contestants got to suggest and vote on a Crowd Pick theme. The round idea, submitted by The Huskies, The Imagineers, and Mulan Rouge, and eventually winning the poll, was INTERNATIONAL! Basically, the teams were challenged to sing in a different language. There was absolutely no English allowed this round. Oh, and one more thing, the entries had to be entirely A CAPPELLA. This is the semifinals... you didn't think it would be easy did you? Wishes is all about that twist! We are so glad the contestants took the challenge head-on because the resulting entries are beyond INCREDIBLE. We all love our heroes, heroines, and even villains, but too often the wonderful sidekicks, good and evil, are overlooked. NOT TODAY! For round 2, the Wishes contestants were challenged to pick a sidekick, good or evil, and rewrite a song (a parody) through the eyes of the sidekick. The song must have at least 50% original lyrics and it cannot be a Disney song. To clarify: we tasked the teams to pick a non-Disney song and rewrite it to be about a sidekick through the sidekick’s eyes. This week definitely brought out so much creativity from the teams!
